OUTSTANDING YOUNG AMERICAN AWARDS

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. ALL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE A PERSONAL INTERVIEW SCHEDULED. INDIVIDUALS WILL BE CONTACTED REGARDING INTERVIEW DATE AND TIME. THE INTERVIEW PHASE IS MANDATORY.

  2. ALL APPLICANTS MUST ATTEND THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:
    June 27th Crowning of Senior King and Queen/Awards Presentation
    July 4th Civic Days Parade Down Main Street

  3. A CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT ATTACHED TO THE APPLICATION.

  4. AN ESSAY (500 WORD MINIMUM) ON THE FOLLOWING TOPIC:
    "Embracing Change"
*Applicants who fail to meet the above requirements will be disqualified*

APPLICATION DUE DATE: June 13, 2008

 

Over $5000.00 in prizes awarded to students in grades    9-12 attending high school in Fitchburg
